the name of this food comes from Mousadaghian dialect which in Armenian means pladz (փլած) that is fallen apart or broken. It has the same ingredients as yalanchi dolma but instead of being stuffed zuchini, it is zuchini slices and the “filling” all stewed together in a pan giving the idea of a dolma “fallen apart”.
