  1. Combine the red lentils and 5 cups of water, cover and cook on low heat until water evaporates, and lentils are over cooked. Add the cumin, salt, Aleppo pepper and pepper paste.
  2. Put the bulgur in a big bowl, add the cooked lentils mix well and cover the bowl.
  3. Chop the onion, cook them with olive oil until transparent. Add it to the mixture and knead well.
  4. Take a small handful of the mixture into the palm of your hand, roll in your palm and fingers to give it a shape.
  5. Sprinkle parsley and chopped green onions on them and serve. you can serve it along with tomato and onion salad.
